Based on our current motoring movies series and our Wheels-of-the-World (WOTW) series, this week we mark the beginning of a new collection of motoring videos. Motoring Digest is intended to take the world of motoring, cars and related news its entirety, reducing down the results to show you just the best car videos out there.

First up we have the Disappearing Car Door - excellent in principle but what BMW tried with the Z1 didn’t really work:

Next we go a little acme with a cartoon showing “the future of cars”, a rather comical take on the cars of tomorrow, from yesterday.

Finally we go across the pond to see a crazy American car, owned by the chat show host Jay Leno. This hot rod was built with a drive train you will never have seen. Running a 12 cylinder TANK engine this car is far from average.

In this weeks Wheels-Of-The-World (WOTW) we are taking two wheels on and looking at some of the current most popular motorbike videos and mountain bike videos. From fast downhill mountain biking videos to death defying motorbike stunts.

First up heres a video of a stunt many of you may have seen before, the basic context is a large steel ball which allows a motorbike rider to defy gravity, riding fast enough to keep them on the bike even when upside down. However this stunt contains not 1 motorcyclist stunt man, but 5!

Next up we take to the muddy slopes with a mountain biking video, this one shows some great downhill mountain biking, as recorded by a camera on zip line! Watch out for the dog that enjoys chasing the mountainbikes!

Finally heres another mountainbiking video that shows a vast variety of stunts performed by professional mountain bikers!

For this week we are revisiting our series Wheels of the World, taking another look at some of the different car television advertisements to grace our screens. You can view all of these car advert videos and more in our Car Ad Video Collection 2.

First up a car ad from Audi for thier A6 model, named “illusions” this advert plays on all the common visual illusions - see if you can spot them all!

Next up we have a BMW advert for a previous M5 model that never made it to television, we don’t know why!

A different stance on the car, this tv ad by greenpeace is a rather harsh look at their opinion of some car owners.

Finally here’s Jeep’s take on snow white, perhaps a reason to keep the sunroof closed, a great car tv ad nether-the-less!
