Wheels of the World: Car and Motoring Advertisments

For our next Wheels of the World in this series we are going to be looking at television advertisements, from the cake building Skoda ad to innovative Honda commercials.

With large advertising budgets and engineers around to help, car companies should produce amazing ads – and quite often they do! First up is the Honda Ad that gained a following and apparently took 206 attempts to get right – This clever car ad uses parts of cars to create a video narrative that is addictive to watch! (you can see more videos like this in our Video Collection – click here to view more videos)

Next up is another car ad, this time from Nissan – Entitled ‘Nissan 4×4 Naturally Capable‘. This car ad highlights the Nissan 4×4 range by depicting a range of terrain it is suitable for and then the car changes form to overcome the terrain. A great ad that is always fun to see!

The Citreon C4 is next in this series of car advertisements, with another transforming car – but this time it turns from a car into a ice skating robot! – The second in the series of ad’s in which cars transform into man like robots – in the first ad the car dances! (you can see more videos like this in our Video Collection – click here to view more videos)

Last up we have a car – but made out of cake! Skoda produce a whole new type of car – although I am not to sure its drivable!

That concludes this addition of Wheels of the World – But the videos don’t stop there! We have started compiling great little playlists of all the best motoring and wheel related videos from around the world, all in one place! Wheels of the World: Motorbikes

Posted in Wheels of the World,Wheels-Near-U-UK by Wheels Near U Team on the September 30th, 2007

This week we are looking at motorbikes for our Wheels of the World, from the inventions of the Japanese to the risky riding of europe. We also look at a novel electric powered motorbike.

Please note: Please drive and ride safely at all times, we do not condone, support or recommend anyone attempts any stunts or anything which they see in videos shown as part of this series, they are shown only to provide a varied range of material from around the world – Dangerous Driving Kills.

First up – A novel invention from across the world – Japan brings you the walking motorbike! – Far from your usual two wheeled road bike this comical machine will transport you from a to b – at a leisurely speed.

Next we go to another motorbike from Japan that runs almost silently – “a new electric motorbike with a hybrid plug-in, electromagnetic-permanent magnet motor, and is seven times more cost-efficient than scooters running on petrol.”

Finally we visit America for a few motorbike stunts – don’t try this at home!
